The children had a fantastic World Book day today. They came dressed in their pyjamas and brought along their favourite book character as a sock puppet. We started our morning by sharing our sock puppets in our house teams. We then wrote our own character descriptions for our favourite book characters! These were brilliant! In the afternoon we created clue cards for a book character. The children then had to guess each other characters using the clues.
Later in the day we also had library time with the older children in Morpurgo class. The children loved sharing their favourite books together. We ended our day with the Big Book Quiz in the hall where the children worked in teams to score the most points. We had a great day!
