Fruity Feasts!

This week the children made their own fruit kebabs as part of our science topic ‘How can 5 a day keep us healthy?’ Earlier in the week the children had voted for their favourite fruits. We then began to think about what fruit we might want to use on our fruit kebabs. We looked at different sets of instructions and looked at what equipment we might need. We then had a fruity afternoon on Thursday where they each made their own fruit kebab.

The children really enjoyed cutting the fruits and using the star cookie cutter to make a pineapple star for the top. Once everybody had made their kebab the children chose whether to eat their kebab in school or take it home.

Potter Sports Stars!

This week the children in Potter class have enjoyed practising their athletics skills. They’ve been completing carousels which help them to practise their running, jumping and their throwing skills.

The children really enjoyed the carousel and all voted for their favourite stations. Lots of the children said they were very excited for sports day this year!
