Final week of festivities!

This week the children designed and made their own stockings. They carefully glued and decorated their stockings before adding cotton wool. Year 2 had a go at stitching the edges of their stockings together. The finished tree decorations looked great and the children did very well.

On Thursday afternoon the children enjoyed a Christmas disco with Rosen class. The children enjoyed choosing their favourite Christmas songs to dance to.

The children had fun watching themselves on the big screen in their nativity performance which we recorded earlier in the week. We then ended our busy week by watching a Christmas film.

Christmas Lunch!

On Wednesday the children had their Christmas lunch. As always the children made their own hats to wear to lunch. The children took a lot of time and care when making their snowflake hats. We certainly used a lot of glitter! After lunch the children took part in some party games and a festive PE lesson.

Christmas time is here!

This week the festivities have began in Potter class. We have been rehearsing our nativity each day and learning our carols ready for the performance. The children have done a brilliant job of learning their lines.

Lots of concentration faces here!

This week the children began making their Christmas decorations for our class hoop which will be displayed in the school hall. They tried really hard and decorated them with care. They all made their own Christmas wreaths to hang on their tree at home.
